BRATISLAVA 7. apríla (WebNoviny.sk) – Americký dvojtýždenník Rolling Stone zverejnil zoznam 40 najlepších punkových albumov všetkých čias. Prvé miesto obsadila americká kapela Ramones s debutovou, eponymnou štúdiovkou z apríla 1976. Za nimi nasleduje londýnska skupina The Clash s jej prvou, eponymnou nahrávkou z roku 1977. Jediný radový album anglickej kapely Sex Pistols s názvom Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols (1977) sa dostal na tretie miesto.
Do prvej desiatky redaktori magazínu Rolling Stone zaradili aj albumy The Stooges – Fun House (1970), Gang of Four – Entertainment! (1979), Wire – Pink Flag (1977), Minutemen – Double Nickels on the Dime (1984), Black Flag – Damaged (1981), X – Los Angeles (1980) a Nirvana – Nevermind (1991).
